British Car Gathering
May 22-26 Dunsmuir, Ca.

British Car Gathering and Town-Wide Swap Meet. One hundred cars showed up last year. Motor cavalcade through town, then display your British car in the Historic District. There will be music, a barbecue, entertainment and afternoon tea. Participants will enjoy an evening moonlight tour to Castle Crags. No entry fees, no pre-registration, just show up and have fun! Awards in various classes.

Tyee members Bob and Sheila Findlay would like some company, care to join us? Since we have Healeys and a Triumph, it happens that it’s the Healey’s turn to be on the road. I think it would be fun to tour Healeys and Triumphs together.

Here is the agenda:

• May 22 Thursday. Meet us at McDonalds I-5 exit 127 at 10:00 AM. You will see McDonalds as you exit the freeway. We’ll get acquainted, check out the cars and be on our way. I-5 to Creswell, Ore (Eugene area) staying overnight at the Creswell Inn. It’s 262 miles to Creswell

• May 23 Friday Depart Creswell on Ore. 58 and US 97 to Klamath Falls for lunch, then on to Dunsmuir. It’s 265 miles to Dunsmuir. May 23 Friday & May 24 Saturday. Stay at the Cedar Lodge Motel in Dunsmuir

• May 25 Sunday Depart for home staying overnight again at the Creswell Inn

• May 26 Monday Leave Creswell a little early so as to arrive home before the Memorial Day rush.
